Proximity Smart Door Lock Module - Electric Cars

Install this proximity module to add the automatic lock feature to your car.

Exit your car, close all the doors and trunk/hatch, and the doors will automatically lock 10 seconds later.

We have two versions available

• For cars with doors that automatically unlock when you get closer to the car, our module will only lock the doors
• For cars that do not have this auto unlock feature available from the factory but does have power-folding mirrors that unfold when you approach the car, our module will lock the doors 10 seconds after you close the doors, and will also unlock the doors when you approach the car. (For cars that do not have the auto unlock feature from the factory but install our module, the horn may honk once when the doors unlock as you get closer to the car. There is nothing we can do to make the horn not honk, I'm afraid.)

Install our module to add this convenient feature to your car. 

Please do not leave the key in the car at any time when leaving, as the locks may still automatically engage.

You will need to splice 4 wires to connectors underneath the left side of the dashboard. We will provide an instruction manual that will show you exactly which connector and which wire to splice the wires to. If you are not comfortable with splicing wires, you should get a shop to do it.

You can disable and later enable the proximity locking and unlocking function using the following procedures. You can disable if the car is to go for repairs, or you are going to wash the car.

• Disable/enable by short pressing trunk button on the remote 3 times after turning off ignition and stepping outside the car.
