Clutch Pedal Adjuster

Clutch adjuster will fit all Hyundai and Kia cars with manual transmissions up to the 2016 model year. The pedal adjuster will install behind the clutch pedal.

The adjuster has 2 primary functions.

1. On certain Hyundai and Kia manual transmission cars, when the clutch disc is worn down, the clutch engagement point will drop to near the end of travel of the clutch pedal, and after that point, even though the disc has some useability remaining, the engagement point will drop beyond the end of travel, and the clutch will not engage. You can use the adjuster to allow the pedal to push in slightly more than stock, allowing you to use the clutch until the friction material on the disc completely wears out.
2. On some cars, the clutch engagement point is too high, meaning that you have a lot of dead space between the clutch engagement point and the floor, creating a lot of unnecessary motion. By adjusting the travel amount, you can bring up the end of the clutch travel to just beyond the clutch engagement point, ensuring quicker and crisper shifts.
