2019+ Veloster and Veloster N Short Shifter

Short Shifter for the 2019+ Veloster and Veloster N has been CAD-designed, and CNC machined for a shift height that is about one inch lower than stock, and shift throw that is 30% shorter than stock.

If your original gear knob has a button that you must press to go into reverse gear, installing this short shifter will change the reverse mechanism to the pull-up reverse lockout ring, where you pull up the metal ring beneath the gear knob in order to shift into reverse. In this case, you must purchase the short shifter set with one of our optional gear knobs, or you must at least purchase some other gear knob that has the space beneath the gear knob for the pull-up lockout ring to go into. You will not be able to use your original gear knob.

If your gear knob already has a pull-up lockout ring that you need to use to shift into reverse, you can purchase just the shifter without purchasing an optional gear knob, since your gear knob will work with the shifter.

Optional shift knob #1 will be shipped with both red and black rings. The red rings are shown in the images but both red and black rings will be included so you can use whichever one you prefer. The image shows a 6-speed shift pattern, but the actual product will have an emblem that only has the SYSTEM-UPGRADE logo. This shift knob will add US$40 to the price.

Optional shift knob $2 will add US$20 to the price.
