DRL-Delete Wire Harness

This custom-made wire harness is made specifically for the 2011-2014 Sonata.

The harness will not fit the hybrid model.

The wire harness has three functions.

• Deletes the factory high-beam DRL - Using the primary relay inside the harness, this will just route power from the high beam bulb until the low beams are turned on. So, the high beam bulb will be inactive until you turn on the headlights, at which point, you can turn on the high beams.
• Allow use of a secondary LED source to be used as Full-Time DRL - The harness has two wires coming out the back. Connect the two wires to any LED strip or module, and the LEDs will light up when the ignition is turned on, and will stay on with the headlights, unlike the factory DRL which turns off when the headlights are turned on.
• LEDs will also be used as turn signal indicators - Through the use of a secondary relay, the LEDs that are connected to the harness will stay on all the time, and when the turn signals are turned on, the LEDs will blink in sync with the turn signals. When the turn signal is turned off, the LEDs will turn off for a second, and then turn back on.

Other than connecting the two wires from the harness to LEDs, this wire harness is completely plug-and-play.

Just unplug the main wire harness connector from your headlights, and plug in our wire harness between the headlights and main wire harness.

If you don't connect anything to the two wires, that will have no effect on the DRL-delete function.

Price is US$69 for one pair of wire harnesses, one for each headlight.

The turn signal function can be left out if desired.
