2011-2013 Elantra DRL Factory Fog Light Kit

Complete DRL Fog Light Kit for 2011-2013 Elantra.

Fog light kit includes two modified factory fog lights, the factory fog light switch, and wiring harness.

Fog Light Function

• The wiring harness includes a relay and fuse for safe operation.
• The wiring harness is labeled, making it very easy to install.
• Two wires will have to be grounded, one wire connected to the battery power(+), plug in the wiring harness to the switch, and plug in the fuse coming out of the switch into the IG1 or cigarette lighter fuse in the cabin fuse box.
• Our kit will allow the fog lights to be turned on whenever the ignition is on, regardless of whether the driving lights are on.
• On most factory systems, the driving lights must be turned on in order for the fog lights to work.
• If you would like to wire up your fog lights like a factory system so that the fogs will only work when the driving lights are working, cut off the fuse on the wire coming out of the switch, and splice the wire into the driving light power wire coming out of the switch.

DRL Function

• The fog light housings have been modified with surface-lit LED panels that will work as the DRL.
• The wiring has been done, and you just have to plug in the power fuse into the fuse box to power the DRLs so that they will light up when the ignition is turned on.

Autolight feature also an option.

The switch that is included with the kit has the autolight function, but in order for the autolight feature to work, you need the autolight sensor.

If your car already has the autolight function, then the kit will work on your car.

If you do not have autolight function in your car, you can purchase the autolight sensor with the fog light kit, and you will gain the autolight function.

Just plug in the sensor on top of the dashboard under the windshield.

If the car originaly has DRL function, the autolight sensor will not function correctly.

The autolight sensor is an additional US$20.

Fog lights will contain factory Philips bulbs.

Super-white Xenon bulbs, LED bulbs, and HID kits are available as upgradeable options.

The super-white bulbs are US$15 extra, the LED bulbs are US$45 extra, and a 6000K HID kit is US$75 extra.
