Most cars produced these days have a rubber weatherstrip molding that goes around the door frame on the car body. The silicone molding goes between the rubber weatherstrip molding and the car frame, providing an extra layer of sound suppression for the cabin.

After installing the silicone molding kit, you will be able to experience a substanstial lowering of ambient noise filtering in from the outside. On a test car driving at about 60 MPH, we experienced a drop in decibel levels from about 75 to about 68 decibels, driving the same car without and with the silicone molding kit installed.

Just pull the stock weatherstrip molding off the door frame, and put in the silicone molding, and put the weatherstrip molding in place.

The silicone molding kit is 16 meters in length, and will be enough for four doors in most cars and SUVs.

The molding kit is available in black, orange, blue and red. Please choose the color you want from the dropdown menu above.

This kit is only applicable for cars that have window frames. You will not be able to use this molding kit in cars without window frames such as the 03-08 Tiburon.

This kit is only applicable for cars that have removeable weatherstrip moldings. Since the silicone molding kit goes underneath the weatherstrip molding, the weatherstrip molding needs to be removeable.
