Product Description

LED bulbs available in 1156 and 1157 sizes can be used in the turn signals, brake lights and reverse lights.

All LEDs and bulbs made and assembled in Korea.

Each bulb has 31 high-output 3Chip 5050 LEDs, and includes the following advantages.

  • Built-in circuitry that eliminates the need to install load resistors that slow down blinking when using as turn signals
  • Also include circuitry that will not trigger any error messages or electrical issues that LED bulbs may trigger in some modern cars that closely monitor electrical power used in the car. Can be used in modern German cars as well.
  • Each bulb has aluminum pieces between each row of LEDs that act as heat sinks, allowing the LEDs to run cooler and increase performance and longevity.

The 1156 single bulbs usually are used for turn signals only and reverse lights only, as they are single color and one brightness. For reverse lights, please check to make sure your car uses 1156 bulbs and not smaller T10 or T25 bulbs.

The 1157 double bulbs can be used for the turn signals that also light up weakly for the parking lights, and brightly for brake lights.

The 1157 dual color bulbs use 2 different colors for the parking lights and turn signals.

The bulbs use latest generation 1533 LED chips, which are 15mm X 3.3mm in size. These draw 200 mA as opposed to the 60 mA of standard 5050 chips, and are more than 3 times brighter than 5050 chips. The 1533 chips put out 23,000 mcd, as opposed to the 7,000 mcd put out by 5050 chips.

The 1156 and single color 1157 bulbs are available in red, yellow, and white.

The dual color 1157 bulbs are available in white/yellow.

All bulbs are sold in sets of 2 bulbs, and are priced at US$60 for one set of 2 bulbs.

There are some cars that the bulbs are not compatible with, where hyperflashing or error messages will occur. There is no particular car model or model year that is affected, it just happens in a small percentage of random cars. If this happens, you can either send back the bulbs for a refund, or use load resistors which will take care of the issue.
